Being both a devoted therapist and mother comes with its own set of unique challenges—managing the emotional, clinical, and clerical demands of your business, while trying to care for your growing family can leave little (to no) time for your SELF. This group provides a dedicated safe space where therapist moms can gather to connect, share tips and tools, and get help in the balancing act of these demanding roles. In this group, you can:

  • Explore managing work-life balance, preventing burnout, and adjusting to your new identity and capacity in motherhood.

  • Discuss the complexities of holding emotional space for your clients while tending to you and your family’s ever-growing needs.

  • Share tips & insights with peers who understand the dual pressures of being a therapist and a mother.

  • Get real-time help making business, practice, and parenting decisions.

  • Find connection and accountability with like-minded women in parenting, personal, and career growth.

  • Unlock your true potential as a heart-centered & abundance-driven mother and clinician.

the Adjustment to Motherhood completely rocked me and everything I thought I had planned so well for in my professional life.

Once I attained a Grad Degree, 3000+ supervised (& underpaid) clinical hours, passed my licensing exam, and countless hours of my own personal therapy, I thought I had my “stuff” figured out...and then I was humbled again and again after embarking on the transition to motherhood. Motherhood is a constant invitation to return home to ourselves, and we must follow this call, especially those of us who also devote our careers to holding space for the emotional pain and healing of others.

As both a therapist and a mother, I know firsthand the challenges of balancing these two important roles. My experience includes years of working in mental health and building a thriving private group practice, while raising a family, and I’m passionate about creating supportive spaces for other moms in the field. Through this group, we help fellow therapist moms find and share resources, feel less alone, and connect with others who understand the complexities of juggling an entrepreneurial career as a clinician and motherhood….”

We hope you will join us in this supportive and loving Sisterhood of Therapist Moms!!
