Initial 15 minute phone consultations are complimentary. Individual, couple and family sessions start at $150. Each clinician has a unique fee based on their training, experience and specialities. Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, check, and credit card are accepted. Fees may be increased once a year reflecting inflation, increased overhead costs, and market rates.

If you’re unsure of where to begin contact us today and we can schedule a free 15 minute initial phone consultation to see how we can be help you.

  • I have a PPO. How do I use my out of network benefits to help cover the cost of therapy?

Using Out-of-Network Insurance for Therapy in San Clemente Just Got Easier.

We know navigating insurance for therapy—especially out-of-network benefits—can feel overwhelming, confusing, and frankly… a little defeating. But at The Bloom Room, we believe the process shouldn’t stand in the way of getting the support you deserve.

That’s why we partner with Mentaya, a simple, client-friendly platform that helps you get reimbursed for therapy sessions—without the stress of dealing with insurance paperwork or phone calls.

    Here’s how it works:

    Start by verifying your benefits.
We’ll do the legwork for you. Just fill out this form to confirm whether your plan includes out-of-network coverage.

    Book your free consultation.
During this call with your preferred therapist, we’ll walk you through your potential reimbursement and help you understand your out-of-pocket costs.

Not sure who you'd like to see? No worries—just fill out our contact form and tell us a little bit about what you're looking for. We’ll help match you with the right therapist for your needs.

After each session, Mentaya takes it from there.
✔ We submit your claims automatically
✔ Mentaya manages communication with your insurance
✔ You receive reimbursement directly (if your plan includes OON benefits)

A small fee, no risk: Mentaya charges a minimal processing fee—but only if you're reimbursed. And they guarantee successful claim submission or your money back.

  • Do You take Insurance?

At The Bloom Room, we are not in-network with insurance providers. However, many of our clients in San Clemente and the South Orange County area are able to use their out-of-network (OON) benefits to help offset the cost of therapy.

Here’s how it works: you pay for sessions up front, and—if you have a PPO insurance plan—you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement directly from your insurance company. The amount you’re reimbursed depends on your specific plan and coverage.

We know insurance can be confusing, especially when you’re trying to budget for therapy and compare your options. That’s why we’ve partnered with Mentaya (scroll down to learn more!)—a platform that makes using your out-of-network benefits much easier by verifying your coverage and even submitting claims on your behalf.

We’re here to help simplify the process so you can focus on your growth, not the paperwork.

  • I'm not sure I can afford therapy. Do you offer lower-fee options?

We truly believe that everyone deserves access to meaningful, supportive therapy. At The Bloom Room, each of our therapists offers a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients who are ready to begin the journey but may need more flexibility when it comes to cost.

If finances are a concern, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to talk through what’s possible and explore the best fit for your budget.

You can also book a free consultation to learn more—we’d love to connect with you.

  • Do you offer in-person therapy in San Clemente?

Yes, we offer in-person sessions at our San Clemente office, as well as online therapy for clients throughout California.

  • Do you offer online therapy?

Yes! The Bloom Room offers secure telehealth sessions for clients across California. We use a HIPAA-compliant video platform to ensure your privacy and comfort. Whether you're based in San Clemente, Dana Point, or anywhere in South Orange County, you can access therapy from the comfort of your home.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Each therapist at The Bloom Room sets their own cancellation policy, which will be reviewed with you during your first session. Most of our clinicians require either 24 or 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without being charged.

To cancel or change your appointment, please reach out to your therapist directly to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full session fee, and insurance does not reimburse for these charges.

We appreciate your understanding and your commitment to the therapy process.

  • How long are sessions, and how often will we meet?

Standard therapy sessions at The Bloom Room are 50 minutes long. Most clients meet with their therapist weekly, but we may adjust the frequency depending on your unique needs and preferences. Your therapist will collaborate with you to find a rhythm that feels right.

  • Do you work with teens or adolescents?

Absolutely. Many of our therapists specialize in working with teens ages 11 and up. We love supporting adolescents as they navigate identity, relationships, academic pressures, and mental health challenges.

If your child is under 11, reach out! While we may not offer direct therapy for younger children, we can provide parenting support or connect you with a trusted local provider who works with kids.

Each therapist brings their own expertise—from anxiety and school stress to self-esteem, peer dynamics, or family conflict. We're confident we can help find the right fit for your teen.

  • I’m interested in therapy for my teen. What should I expect?

When starting therapy for a teen, we often begin with an initial parent session to gather background, discuss concerns, and align on goals.

From there, your therapist will determine the best format:
    – Individual sessions with your teen
    – A combination of individual and family sessions
    – Or periodic parent check-ins to help track progress

We’ll always collaborate with you to make sure the approach fits your child’s unique needs and your family’s goals.

  • Where is your office located?

The Bloom Room is located in the heart of San Clemente at:
📍 324 Avenida de la Estrella, San Clemente, CA 92672

Our office is easily accessible from nearby areas like Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, and Ladera Ranch. Once your session is booked, we’ll share arrival details and access instructions. If you ever have trouble finding us, your therapist is just a message away!

  • How do I find the right therapist for me?

Finding the right therapist is deeply personal. What matters most is that you feel safe, understood, and supported in the space.

If you're ever feeling unsure—whether you're not connecting, feel stuck, or just aren’t sure it’s the right fit—we welcome that conversation. We value honesty and see it as part of the work. Sometimes these conversations lead to powerful breakthroughs. Other times, your therapist will gladly help you connect with someone who might be a better match.

If you’re just getting started, fill out our contact form and we’ll help guide you toward a therapist in our practice who aligns with your needs, goals, and preferences.

  • How long will I be in therapy?

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some clients come in with a specific goal and feel complete after a few months. Others continue long-term, finding value in ongoing support, deeper reflection, and continued personal growth.

At The Bloom Room, we tailor your experience to fit you. We'll revisit your goals as you go, and you're always in charge of how long therapy lasts.

  • What are your hours?

Each therapist at The Bloom Room has their own schedule and availability. You can explore open consultation slots and book directly on our scheduling page or reach out to us for help matching with a therapist who fits your availability.
