SOUTH OC THERAPY

Our Founders & Team

A smiling woman with long dark hair wearing a white dress, sitting cross-legged on grass in a park with trees and a wooden fence in the background.

Celynna Harnetiaux, LMFT, Co-Founder, Clinical Supervisor

My hope is to make this first step towards healing as easy as possible because I know just getting yourself to a first session can seem challenging enough. While I believe in the value of different therapeutic approaches, I find that nothing is as essential as the relationship you have with your therapist—how safe and comfortable you feel in their presence is what truly makes the difference. My hope is that you'll find a safe space here where you can engage in the meaningful, challenging work of therapy.

Clinical Specialties: Teens, Adults, Couples, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health, EMDR

Celynna is available to see clients virtually or in-person Mondays-Thursdays.

Rachel Daggett, LMFT, Co-Founder, Clinical Supervisor

First and foremost, I strive to see people, to really see them - and what lies beneath whatever brings them into therapy. The more I do this work and this life, the less interested I am in what’s on the surface. Our problematic behaviors, patterns, relationships, triggers, thoughts, complaints, and habits are windows into what drives us, what has hurt us, what wounds still need tended to. That is where lasting change really occurs.

Clinical Specialties: Teens, Adults, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health, EMDR

Rachel is available to see clients virtually or in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Meet the San Clemente Therapists

  • Ashley Therapist

    Ashley McKinnon, AMFT

    Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Therapy is all about the story of you. It is a deep exploration of your inner world and your unique journey, and it all begins with exactly where you are now: your life, relationships, emotions, fears, curiosities, and hopes. As a therapist, my role is to serve as both a guide and a co- explorer of your inner terrain, walking alongside you and holding a safe and secure container for that exploration.

I view healing as an ongoing process where we learn to hold our vulnerabilities with kindness, creating space for more light—more joy, love, delight, peace, and wonder. This process is not about replacing darkness but integrating it into a harmonious whole. I would be honored to accompany you on this journey, whether that ends up being one season of your life or many, as long as therapy remains a positive and beneficial space for you.

Clinical Specialties: Pre-teens, Teens, Adults, Trauma & EMDR, Anxiety, Depression, Depth Psychology, Maternal Mental Health, Spiritual & Religious Trauma or Deconstruction

Ashley is available to see clients virtually or in-personMonday-Thursday

  • Jessica Haderlie, ACSW

When life feels overwhelming, it can be hard to slow down enough to understand what you’re carrying — especially when you’re holding so much for everyone else. I especially enjoy working with moms, women navigating life transitions, families, and clients moving through anxiety, grief, eating disorders, postpartum experiences, relationship stress, or feeling emotionally stretched thin. I know how easy it is to lose yourself in the demands of everyday life, and I offer a warm, grounded space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin reconnecting with yourself.

My approach is attachment-based and trauma-informed, blending emotional exploration with practical support to help clients feel calmer in their nervous systems, more emotionally steady, and more confident navigating life’s challenges. Together, we work toward creating a deeper understanding of what you’re carrying, building trust in yourself, and helping life feel a little more manageable and connected.

Clinical Specialties: Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, Parenting, ADHD, Trauma & PTSD, Motherhood, Anxiety, Stress & Life Transitions, Identity & Meaning-Making

Jessica is available to see clients virtually or in-person Mondays- Fridays.

  • Jennie Denney Therapist

    Jennie Denney, AMFT

    Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Learning to slow down, breathe, and meet yourself with compassion is where real healing begins. You’re doing your best to hold it all together, but it’s exhausting when relationships feel strained and emotions run high. I offer a compassionate, practical space for individuals, couples, and families to rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and heal emotional wounds.

I am grounded in trauma-informed care, Gottman Method, EFT, attachment theory, and family systems. I incorporate narrative, parts work, mindfulness, and experiential modalities into sessions, and I am deeply invested in helping teens and their families heal together.

Clinical Specialties: Preteens, Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, Parenting, Self Harm, Trauma, Maternal Mental Health, Spiritual & Religious Trauma or Deconstruction

Jennie is available to see clients virtually or in-person on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday

  • Young woman with shoulder-length light brown hair, smiling, wearing a sleeveless black top with white trim, sitting on a mustard-colored couch in front of a green paneled wall.

    Molly Mickey, ACSW

    Associate Clinical Social Worker

Therapy is a space to get curious about yourself, understand what you’re feeling, and make room for every part of your experience — even the painful ones. I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life’s many transitions, offering a safe, curious, and nonjudgmental space where you can move at your own pace. You don’t have to face things alone — I’ll be here with you through it.

My approach is trauma-informed, warm, and collaborative, always meeting you where you are. Using an integrative and flexible approach tailored to your needs, we’ll work together to build insight, better understand emotions, and develop sustainable tools so life can feel more manageable, grounded, and aligned with what matters most to you.

Clinical Specialties: Preteens, Teens, Adults, Trauma, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Women’s Issues

Molly is available to see clients virtually or in-person Monday-Friday.

  • Tanya Hauer, ACSW

Healing begins when we feel safe enough to slow down, be honest about what hurts, and trust that we do not have to carry it alone. I work with adolescents, teens, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, behavioral challenges, addiction, religious trauma, and the often-overlooked struggles that can leave people feeling misunderstood or unsupported. I am especially drawn to supporting families of children with high-functioning autism and individuals who feel like their experiences have not been fully seen or understood.

I offer a grounded, relational space where you can exhale and begin reconnecting with yourself. My approach is trauma-informed, somatic, and deeply attuned to the nervous system. I integrate EMDR, mindfulness, CBT, EFT, and nature-based practices to help clients process what feels stuck, build emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful, lasting healing.

Clinical Specialties: Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, Parenting, Autism, Trauma & PTSD, Motherhood, Anxiety, Life Transitions, and Substance Use

Tanya is available to see clients virtually or in-person Monday- Friday evenings and Saturdays.

  • Smiling man with a checkered shirt standing by the ocean sunset

    Ryan Denney, AMFT

    Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Therapy should be a safe place where you don’t have to carry your struggles alone. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating stress, transitions, relationship challenges, identity shifts, and life’s harder seasons — helping clients make sense of their experiences and uncover new ways forward.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years in the software industry leading teams through constant change and uncertainty. That experience shaped my understanding of how stress and transitions impact our lives and relationships. My approach is grounded in curiosity, connection, and meaning-making — helping clients strengthen their relationship with themselves, others, and what matters most.

Clinical Specialties: Teens, Adults, Couples, Families, Parenting, Trauma & PTSD, Mens Issues, Fatherhood, Anxiety, Stress & Life Transitions, Identity & Meaning-Making

Ryan is available to see clients virtually or in-person on weekday evenings and Saturdays

  • A smiling man with short brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a dark collared shirt, standing in front of a bookshelf.

    Brandon Tatum, AMFT

    Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I am in your corner. As your therapist I will offer a reliable, supportive, non-judgmental place for you to land and together we will explore whatever you feel is holding you back whether it be anxiety, depression, self-doubt, buried emotions, a feeling of "stuck-ness," or something else.

You're not alone in having mixed feelings when it comes to confronting the personal obstacles in your life. It might seem safer to "sweep them under the rug," but that doesn't really seem to do the trick, does it? Together, we will face them head on so that you can discover the freedom, clarity, connection, and self-acceptance that you truly deserve.

You've got this! Take the first step towards healing. Schedule a call or appointment with me today.
