Why I became a therapist
I love having meaningful work. Supporting people through difficult seasons, helping them feel more understood, and witnessing growth over time feels deeply meaningful to me. My experiences of motherhood, grief, and identity shifts have shaped my compassion and continue to guide the way I show up in this work.
Why I love this work
I love being able to support people in meaningful ways and helping clients feel more grounded, calmer in their nervous systems, and more connected to themselves and the people they care about.
Who I’m most drawn to supporting
I feel especially drawn to working with families, postpartum moms, women navigating life changes, anxiety, and eating disorders. I’m deeply interested in supporting people through relational stress, emotional regulation challenges, and identity shifts.
My therapy style (and how I balance warmth & accountability)
My approach is attachment-based and trauma-informed. My experiences of motherhood, grief, and identity shifts inform my compassion and guide my approach. I want therapy to feel supportive, useful, and grounded in real life.
I think being emotionally attuned to what the client needs in that moment is important. I also believe in being direct and honest, while communicating that honesty as care. Warmth and accountability go together — clients deserve both compassion and honesty.
Approaches & modalities I use
Somatics • EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)
My work is rooted in understanding the nervous system, relationships, and emotional experiences in ways that feel compassionate and supportive.
How we’ll begin
Those first sessions are about learning who you are and what you’ve been carrying. Understanding how you got here, what you’ve already tried, and what’s kept things stuck.
I believe reaching out for help is a courageous step, and I feel honored to be trusted with each client’s story. I pay attention to the full picture while focusing on building trust first.
What therapy with me feels like
Clients might describe me as grounded, insightful, very engaged, and curious. My vibe in session is warm, calm, insightful, and exploratory.
More than anything, I hope clients feel met with care and respect. I hope therapy helps them feel calmer in their nervous system, more seen, and more supported in what they’re carrying
What helps people heal
I believe combining practical coping tools with deeper emotional exploration helps therapy feel both supportive and useful in real life. Over time, many clients notice they’ve built emotional steadiness, feel calmer in their nervous system, more present in their relationships, and more confident managing their mental load.
What I hope you take with you
I hope clients leave therapy with more emotional steadiness and a more secure relationship with themselves.
